Heather Swan

Heather Swan is a farmer from Yackandandah and a world-record-holding adventurer. She is the only woman in the world to successfully combine high altitude mountaineering and wingsuit flying. The pioneering skydiver’s other world firsts include wingsuiting in Antarctica, across the Grand Canyon from rim to rim – a distance of over 12 kilometres; across Lake Eyre (Kati Thanda) and many other iconic Australian landmarks including Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane cities.

She is the author of three books and the recipient of many awards including the prestigious ’Spirit of Adventure Award’ from Australian Geographic. She has featured in a number of international documentaries, on 60 Minutes three times and Australian Story twice. Heather is a sought-after presenter and has spoken at prestigious conferences in Australia, Asia, North America, and Europe.
